    Windows 11 unable to automatically open Calendar on Windows bootup.


    I was running Windows 10 and had the Calendar set up to open when my PC started up. I then upgraded to Windows 11 and the Calendar continued to open on bootup so all was fine. While learning the new windows 11 operating system I, I thoroughly screwed up Windows 11 so I had to reinstall W 11. After doing so I discovered W 11 no longer opened Calendar on bootup. I did all the research I could find on this issue but nothing worked. Eventually I contacted Microsoft to help sort this out and learned W 11 was currently not able to do this any longer. Calendar had not been programmed into W 11

    Windows 10 Tweaks

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Windows 10 Mail & Calendar Apps Unable to open

    Thank you for the information.

    If that's the case, we suggest resetting Mail & Calendar app by following the steps below:

    • On the search bar, type Settings and press Enter.
    • Select Apps.
    • Locate and click Mail and Calendar, select Reset.

    After resetting the apps, we recommend resetting cache of Windows Store:

    • Press Windows key + R.
    • Type WSReset.exe and press Enter.

    Let us know if you're able to access Mail & Calendar apps.

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
