    Windows 11, unable to login “your pin is no longer available…”


    Updated computer, now when I try to log in, my only option is to login via pin I had previously set a pin and used that to login, but could also login using a password. The message displayed is “Your PIN is no longer available due to a change in the security settings on this device. Click to set up your PIN again”. I click set up my pin the only option and it registers that I have clicked, but then nothing changes. This is the case for every account on my computer. After some research, people recommended holding shift and restart and then going to troubleshoot>advanced options> sever

    Your PIN is no longer available

    I am unable to login into my computer (windows 10). I get the message “your pin is no longer available due to a change the security settings on this device. You can set up your pin again by going to settings/accounts/siding options.” There are no other
    options for signing in. Does anyone know what to do to login?
