Windows 10: Windows 11 unresponsive tasks

Hello I am having an issue with my PC following an update. All OS windows such as file browser, Winrar or custom ones such as Steel Series GG are refusing to 'respond' they immediately go into 'Not Responding' mode thus I am unable to even upload an image as evidence. Whenever I attempt ot laod up an antivirus to scan the system files, it meetrs the same fate, not responding. Same thing with SysInfo and as you can imagine, many othersInterestingly, when I load up Chrome, it points straight to Meta crypto wallet, or whatever it's called. Does anyone know what type of malware this is and how t

Unresponsive windows 11 task bar icons.

I have a windows 11 PC.

The problem is that when I installed the windows 11 upgrade. My task bar icons are unresponsive to touch.

Please help.

Omg this was a life saver! Thank you so much! I needed to start working and was like OMG WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED TO MY COMPUTER. I chatted w/ a couple folks from support and they were of absolutely no help. Thanks so much again for this answer.

 

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.
