Windows 10: Windows 11 unstable wifi connection no internet, secured

This has been an intermittent problem for a while now. My wifi connection started acting strange, dropping out but returning after a minute or so.The status bar will read No internet, secured, sometimes just disconnecting entirely. I've tried to:restore the network settingsuninstall my VPNuninstall the network card driveruninstall latest Windows Updatesipconfig/release and ipconfig/renewassign manual DNS serverschanging from public to private networkupdating BIOSI have also tried to reinstall the network driver and now each time I turn the laptop on the Wifi option is removed completely, so I

When will the wifi connectivity problems be solved?


OK, so the Windows 10 engineers bollixed up the wifi connectivity part of the operating system. Everybody knows that by now. It seems they are making some progress in resolving it. Now, instead of seeing "Secured, No Internet" on your list of wifi connections, you see "Connected, Secured" EXCEPT no webpages will load. So you really aren't connected. It does seem to be a step in the right direction. Does anybody know when they plan on a full and complete repair of this screw up of epic proportions?

It's possible that some settings on your computer were affected after installing an upgrade since you mentioned that this intermittent network connection that you're experiencing only started after that. We'd like to learn more about your concern so we could

• Which build version of Windows 10 is on your computer? To check, click
  Start, type winver, and press Enter.
• Are other devices able to connect to your WiFi network without any problems?
• Have you checked with your Internet Service provider if there are any outages in your area?

Highly Unstable Wifi Connection

From the day I bought my computer, my wifi-conectivity has been unstable. It has always been annoying me, but recently the coonection has become so unstable that I daily feel the urge to throw the laptop against a wall or out the window... So I hope somebody
can give me the advice that will finally fix my wifi-problems.

The things is that my computer often disconnects (sometimes every 5 minutes or less) from the internet. When I click the wifi-icon, I usually can see my own network and the computer appears to be connected (but it doesn't work). Usually I can see lots of
networks around me, but they vanish from the list when I lose the connection (though my own stays).

I have tried restoring the computer to its original state (I bought it with Windows 8 and updated it to Windows 10), updating the networking drivers, followed all the steps on

this page. I have run the various diagnostic tools I've been made aware of on different homepages, too. Nothing seems to work at all.

Can anybody tell me what I can do to fix my connection.

Network Related: Card and drivers all come from Realtek.
