  1. Windows 11 unusually longer login times

Hey there,Logging into the PC was fairly quick a few months back but has become slow after changing a few settings. I found out that it is still quick If I log in with a different new profile but still slow with the old one. I read on Reddit that I would have totransfer all the account data to the new one to solve it. Is there any other way around this? How can I fix it?

    :)

Hello HaloHelixx, thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community. I am here to help and provide assistance with any questions or concerns you may have.

There could be various reasons behind the slower boot time. Would you mind checking the Event Viewer for any relevant information?

    1. Open the Event Viewer (you can do this by pressing Win + X and selecting "Event Viewer").

    2. Go to "Windows Logs" -> "System."

Look for any recent error messages or warnings recorded around the time of your login. These entries might shed light on what's causing the delay.

windows 11 unusually longer login times.

    Hey there!

I was changing around a few settings yesterday when all of a sudden my computer takes longer to sign in now. I reverted all settings that i had previously applied but unfortunately that didnt do anything. Previously it would instantly bring me to desktop, now it takes me a good 10 seconds to even load. Performance wise though my pc does absolutely fine, so i dont know what the hell i did.

Ive tried a few things, such as

    - Increasing Virtual Memory in Ad. Sys settings

    - Disabling all unnecessary startup services and items (mind you it was done way before this even occured, i simply double checked)

    - DISM (Scan/Check/Restorehealth commands)
    - CHKDSK

    - SFC (twice)

Any Advice? Im on windows 11 21h2
