  1. Windows 11 unwanted rapid down scrolling

After a recent update in Windows 11 I now have apps scrolling rapidly to the bottom of pages and I am unable to stop the scrolling until it gets to the bottom of the page. How do I stop this?I haven't changed anything and Windows had notified me to restart my computer and after that I have the uncontrollable scrolling. I've tried rolling back to before the update and the problem is still there. I've searched around the internet and still can't find a solution that works for me.I am using a Acer Nitro-5 laptop. I do not have a mouse attached. I only have a cooling pad and fan plugged into

    :)

    Unwanted Automatic Scrolling

    Hello Forum,

I've noticed a problem with scrolling. The system causes a scroll that I can't control.

One example is the speaker volume. When I click on the speaker icon in the notification area, the volume control slowly scrolls to off.

This happens on similar type type windows. Another example is when I open the device manager window and it's not fully maximized. The window will scroll up. It's annoying. My solution is to maximize the window so the scroll isn't required.

My system started this unwanted scrolling yesterday.

Does anyone know the cause or a solution?

FYI - I upgraded my Win 10 version to v20H2 yesterday as well. Could this be a bug in the new Windows 10 version?

    Regards

    Windows 11 automatic scrolling down..

    Hi, Aman.

I'm Jen. I'm not working for Microsoft but I'd be happy to help you figure this out.

It could be because of an outdated mouse driver, your settings, and other possible causes. To help you troubleshoot, I would suggest following the steps in the link I shared below.

I hope this helps. Feel free to share how it went.

    Kind regards.
