    Like many others, I have received this error many times trying to update Windows 11. I've worked through the suggestions listed under others' questions but they either don't seem to apply to my system or just don't resolve the problem: updating drivers, running the Windows 11 updater as administrator, troubleshooters. I tried downloading the ISO, which one thread suggested, but couldn't manage to mount it. I'm out of ideas.My Windows version is 11 Pro 21H2, my machine is a Dell Vostro 3470, I have run the PC health check and came up good to go so it's not something there.Please help, and th

    Windows 11 22h2 update error - 0x8007001f

    After months of troubles in updating 21H2 to 22H2, trying several solutions (all those here above), I finally solved using SetupDiag. In its output Logs.zip->setupact.log found this error message:
    MigPlatformStartupOnline caught exception: Win32Exception: Duplicate profile detected for S-1-5-21-24609703xxxxx-1306048664-1004. Abandoning ....
    I fix it following this post:

    Windows 11 22H2 “Windows 11 installation has failed”

    I wonder why Microsoft doesn't report the error in some way, the system always showed only a generic fail or sometimes an error 0x8007001f
