    Windows 11 update 22H2 failed then some shortcuts become broken


    Hi,I tried to update to this 22H2 version. The first time, it downloaded the file but the installation failed. So I tried it again but never make the download progress go more than 2%.At the same time, some of my shortcuts became broken. Some shortcuts can't find the application files, including Chrome and Acrobat. I try the trick to delete the icon cache file but it didn't work. The even worse is that this issue triggers annoying error message when I right click on anything involving file explorer. I think the context menu has to call some link but it can't find the application file. Best,che

    Windows 11 22H2 update failed - error 0x8007000d

    The pc added an icon to upgrade to 22H2, so I decided to try the update.

    It went through the entire install process, then after 2 or 3 reboots it came up with a message saying "Undoing changes to your machine" or something like that.

    In the end, it's still asking to upgrade to 22h2 and says "We couldn't install this update, but you can try again. (0x8007000d)

    There's no further info about what the problem with the update was and why it failed.

    Any suggestions?
