Windows 10: Windows 11 update 22H2; Windows Explorer Unresponsive at Startup.

So, I've been pulling my hair out about this for the past week or so. I've been keeping my pc up to date, running Windows 11 pro, PC is home built.Since the past two recent updates, I've encountered the dreaded Unresponsive Windows Explorer bug, and absolutely nothing has fixed it. I got it on the off chance, once, when I powered down my pc using the actual start button on the machine itself, but since then, I've still had issues on startup.Windows Explorer does start, but restarting it does nothing to fix the issue. Now, when I say Unresponsive, I mean all my icons on the taskbar refuse to wo

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer
