    Installed the 8 March 2022 win 11 update and it bricked my Thinkpad a new, in Jan 2021 X1 Extreme gen 3 with 32 GB dram and 2 TB SSD drives, which was running win 11 quite fine until just now. Behavior: 1 "Installing X %..." message goes to 100%2 Screen goes blank and fan kicks in to high speed and the laptop gets really hot3 This goes on for over 30 mins, no change in symptoms.I've tried turning it on and off 3 times and no change, just returns to a blank screen, high speed fan, and really hot.I've tried a "paperclip" reset putting a paper clip in the underside hole after powering off
