Windows 10: Windows 11 Update & Acer not rebooting

Hello! I updated my ACER Aspire All in One computer with the latest Windows 11 update on March 28. When my computer rebooted, it would not advance past the Acer screen with the circle that indicates loading. When I can get the blue screen, it gives me the error code of 0xc0000185. I know that it wants to come back to me...lol! I will hear it connecting & disconnecting to my bluetooth receiver that we use for music. I have tried entering in bios & changing some settings as suggested in some places to no avail. I used my external hard drive to make a Windows 11 bootable usb...but

Windows Update suddenly hangs?

Windows Update is suddenly hanging for some reason... I went and downloaded and installed the first bunch of updates, restarted when asked, and now when I go back to windows update I just get the window with a white box forever. Reboot and it still does it. This happens to be on my main machine, running windows 7.

I've also noticed when I reboot it says configuring windows update, step 3 of 3, 47%. Maybe it somehow skipped something and is screwed forever?

 

FIXED!! Windows 7 sp1 never ends searching for updates

Ok I did another reboot, disabled windows update service, did step 3 again, this time it installed an update, enabled windows update service and did a reboot and voila!! *Peace eace:
