    Windows 11 Update became a HUGE PROBLEM


    Ok, so i recently installed the new Windows 11 update, and my taskbar was gone, and I tried restarting file explorer a few times, restarted my pc, tried to use command prompt, and not of them worked!!! Also, I have these errors and I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!!!!ERRORS:C:\Users\chris\OneDrive\Pictures\Screenshots\Black Background.png File system error -2147219200. ms-settings:display This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Settings page.

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your reply and updating on the status. We apologize for the delay in response.

    I suggest you to run the System Maintenance troubleshooter by following the steps below and check if it helps.

    • Type Troubleshooting in the search box and press Enter.
    • Click on View All in the top left pane.
    • From the list click on System Maintenance and follow the on screen prompts.

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
