Windows 10: Windows 11 Update Bootloop → BSOD Hoping to Avoid Reinstallation

Hello,I was recently asked to assist with an issue affecting a Windows 11 laptop, but the exact cause remains unclear. Upon startup, the system immediately attempts to install an update. Unusually, this occurs on a black screen rather than the typical blue one—I'm unsure if this is standard behavior for Windows 11. The update fails within a few seconds, after which Windows tries to roll it back, resulting in a BSOD during the rollback process. You might have reasons for suggesting this, and I could just misunderstand them. But I just want to stress that it was never a BSOD problem for me, but rather a bootloop (The only BSOD that I got was a known issue with an incorrect version of COMODO). Also I installed Bitdefender just a few days ago, to replace COMODO.

 

Bootloop after Windows 11 Update

I was prompted to do an update for windows 11, but after restarting my pc it got stuck in a bootloop with an BSOD. Following things happen, first it tries to automatically reset changes made and after a few minutes i get a Bluescreen with SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION and Ntfs.sys. I also cant do an automatic Repair as i tried multiple times but it wont boot into the screen where i can go into safe mode. Any idea on how to fix this?

 

Windows 11 reinstall

Hi there I'm using a dell inspiron 3501.

I always experience BSODs in my windows 11 PC. So now I'm trying to reinstall windows 11. I have backed up all the important files as well...

But at the moment I am confused whether should I reset my PC by removing all the files or clean install or a fresh start. Can you give me any suggestion and how the method actually works and the steps that I should follow to reinstall windows 11?
