Windows 10: Windows 11 Update bricks my network access…

Windows Update bricks my network access, browser, as well as OneDrive Syncs, [Windows 11 22H2, OS build 22621.963]. I have been down this road a few times now, I always solved the problem by resetting or restoring windows while loosing all my apps and files except when I backed them up. It’s definitely something coming with the updates. WhatsApp for Desktop won’t let me upload or send documents. Browser keeps saying Hmm…can’t reach this page. Someone might have experienced this or replicated this issue. Help solve anyone. It’s Definitely an issue with Outbound Network Traffic.&n

Windows 11 Network Sharing Not working

Hello:

I have 2 Dell laptops

1. Name MADHIRAS runs Windows 10 Pro
   
2. Name CHANDRA runs Windows 11 Pro
   

I am able to access laptop MADHIRAS (Windows 10) from CHANDRA (Windows 11).

However when I try to access CHANDRA (Windows 11) from Madhiras (Window 10) I get the following error message

“Network Error

Windows cannot access \\CHANDRA

You do not have permission to access \\CHANDRA. Contact your network administrator to request access.”

I login to my laptop CHANDRA (Windows 11) using Microsoft account name and password.

Tried various suggestions from internet but of no use. I feel am missing something very basic.

Would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

I thought providing a complete list would be more helpful than just posting additional steps as I initially did in post #6 above.

Apologize for the delay in response to your issue.

• Do let us know if your device is connected to a Windows Server?
• Have you tried the troubleshooting steps suggested in the Microsoft help article in my previous post and check if it helps?

Step like: Run the Network troubleshooter, Update the rivers, Rollback the drivers, turn off firewalls etc..

Try the above troubleshooting steps update us the status for further assistance.
