    I am posting this question as really an answer since all threads on posts of people looking for answers to this problem are locked by micrsoft admins who chose to close questions that remained unanswered. Way to go MS! Anyway, I recently had the problem where my blutooth drivers appeared fine, but would not pair to anything I first tried updating my drivers with the drivers I originally installed that were from lenovo as I hav a lenovo yoga c930 which I replaced the stock wifi bluetooth chip in so I could dual boot MacOS Hackintosh. After several failed attampts to completely remove and i

    Settings->Bluetooth and other devices : BCM20702A0 (?)

    At 'Settings'-> 'Bluetooth & Other devices'
    I see BCM20702A0 listed below Other devices.

    Don't know where it stands for, what it is used for.

    I am not sure whether at all this option (Bluetooth) should be enabled at all: apart from my Android tablet I have no Bluetooth devices.

    Windows 10 version 1803 April 2018 update broke bluetooth volume control.

    Same issue here using an ASUS USB-BT400 dongle, the issue was introduced with the installation of 1803.

    Settings > Bluetooth and other devices

    BCM20702A0 Driver unavailable

    Yet,

    ASUS USB-BT400

    Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator

    Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator

    Are all installed/listed without issue according to Device Manager and BCM20702A0 is listed as Unknown device.

    I've tried pointing update driver at the driver folder with no luck. And of course reinstalling it.

    Hopefully Microsoft will fix the issue soon.
