Windows 10: Windows 11 Update Broke my computer - need old password to remove update

I recently logged into an older HP computer. A Windows 11 update had been applied. Unfortunately, when it restarted, a fatal error occurred. I retried starting several times to no avail. I went to the repair an diagnosis screen an in order to back out the update it wanted my Microsoft account password. I entered what I thought was the correct password but it didn't recognize it. Not thinking clearly, I went to another computer and reset my password successfully. However, I expect the old password is stored in the broken computer.What I need is a way to find the old password or to somehow unl

Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

When in win10:

• Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....

Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
- Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

 

windows automatic updates

i have some questions about the windows automatic updates in windows xp pro w sp/2. ive got about forty updates they recommend , mostly for security but i only installed two today. after installing them i found them in my add/remove programs in the control panel, if i add all these updates that is a lot of space on my hd almost 1 gig. i thought that updates just updated files and not created new programs. should i innore all these update suggestions from microsoft?
