Windows 10: Windows 11 Update Broke my Speakers

My speakers and microphone stopped working after applying an update on 12/14/2024. I have tried everything to get them to work. Unfortunately for some reason, I cannot undo the update. I have a very high powered laptop. I've been reviewing Internet forums and trying various suggestions for the last 3 months and cannot find any solution. I'm willing to pay for a support call but I cannot find a phone number to do that. All of the phone numbers lead to a recording.

I suggest you try the steps listed below and check if it works. This issue could be because of the Headphones BT SPEAKER Stereo being set as default. I suggest you to try the steps listed below and check if it works.

• Pair the speaker with your PC.
  
• Right click the Windows icon on the taskbar and choose
  Device Manager.
  
• Expand Sound, video, and game controllers
  and right click on your Bluetooth speaker (BT SPEAKER Stereo).
  
• Choose Disable and acknowledge the confirmation popup. Wait for the screen to refresh.
  
• Right click on the same device again and Enable.
  
• Exit Device Manager and see if the issue persist.

Method 1: Try updating the Video card drivers and check if it helps.



Follow the steps to update the Video card driver:

• Press Windows Key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand ‘Display Adapters’.
• Right-click on the Video card listed and click on ‘Update Driver Software’.

Method 2: Try installing the game in Compatibility mode and check.



Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode:

• Right click the Game setup file and select Properties then tap or click the Compatibility tab.
• Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
• Tap or click the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click OK.
• Try installing the Game and check.

If still the issue persist then I suggest you to follow the suggestion provided by crazzilla replied on August 3, 2015 from the below link and check if it helps.
