    Windows 11 Update Error - Windows 11, version 22H2 -Error Oxc1900204


    I'm trying to update Window 10 to Windows 11. My current version is - 21H1 OS Build 19043.2251 When I try and update via Windows update I get the following error - Windows 11, version 22H2 -Error Oxc1900204When I try and update tool via the windows update tool @Download Windows 10 microsoft.com the only option I get is to delete my files which obviously I don't want to do . How do I move forward?

    how to fix 2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706)

    Why would an in-place Upgrade solve this problem? I did all the steps listed here but not the in-place update. The error I see in the Windows update window is "Download error - 0x8024401c" for 2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706). Its been logging this error since 3/17/2023

    Note that on 2/15 everything seemed fine:

    2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022845)

    Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

    2023-02 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5022497)

    Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023
