    Windows 11 Update KB5012592 fails With Error Code 0x800f0900


    I installed a GPU yesterday. The next day Windows Update would not install Update KB5012592. It downloads, then fails to install just as it gets to 100%. I have tried System Restore, stopping and starting The Windows Update service. I've tried stopping and starting many more from multi-line commands. The Windows Update Catalog does not download it either.

    Windows update fails with Error 0x800f0900

    Unable to install both latest cumulative updates.

    The installation of 2019-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4493437) failed yesterday with Error 0x800f0900 and today the installation of 2019-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4499167)
    failed too with same Error 0x800f0900.

    I ran the Troubleshoot app on Windows Update. It fixed Service registration missing or corrupt. However, running Windows update still failed with same Error 0x800f0900.

    Restarted the computer several times and search the internet for fixes without success.

    1) There are two log collectors: DM and BETA
    Please run the beta log collector near the bottom of this webpage:

    2) Open administrative command prompt and copy and paste this whole command:

    bcdedit /enum

    select partition 2
    detail partition
    select partition 3
    detail partition
    select partition 4
    detail partition
    select partition 5

    exit

    3) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

    4) Download and install HD Tune: (free version)
    HD Tune website
    Run HD Tune on each drive
    Post images into the thread for results on each of these tabs:
    a) Health (SMART)
    b) Benchmark
    c) Full error scan

    Windows 10 Version 1703 fails to download update KB4020821 with error code 0x800f0900

    In my settings app on Windows 10 version 1703 windows update trys to to download the security update foe Adobe Flash Player ( KB4020821)for windows 10 version 1703 but fails and has an error code 0x800f0900.What can I do to get it to download and install
