Hi, so I can't fully install Windows 11 update KB5034123. It's downloading, it's installing sucesfully in windows update, but when I'm restarting computer to finish instalation of update, at some point it fails and shows information `"Something went wrong, no need to worry, undoing changes"`, then it's trying like 3 times to install it but still fails and then system just boot normally without this update and it's downloading and installing again in windows update.I tried already pretty every solution I found on microsoft forums etc. for problem like this, so for example reseting windows updat

  2. Windows 11 update KB5034123 fails to update at step of restarting computer

Hi, so I can't fully install Windows 11 update KB5034123. It's downloading, it's installing sucesfully in windows update, but when I'm restarting computer to finish instalation of update, at some point it fails and shows information `"Something went wrong, no need to worry, undoing changes"`, then it's trying like 3 times to install it but still fails and then system just boot normally without this update and it's downloading and installing again in windows update.

I tried already pretty every solution I found on microsoft forums etc. for problem like this, so for example reseting windows update components, trying different "wufixes", DISM and SFC scans, troubleshooting windows update and Background intelligent transfer (also restarting them), like I said - pretty everything I found.

I don't have any antiviruses installed, just Windows Defender, nothing else.

All my drivers are up to date

And what's I think important to note, my system **does not** meet requirements for Windows 11. Teoretically. Because I'm using windows 11 for around 7 months already and no problem ever happened to me, and I installed this windows 11 on my hardware with official "hardware-unsupported method" so I think still, it shouldn't be the cause of this problem with update. Also that's only update I had and have problem with, any other windows 11 update was installing with no problem, and also every other windows-related update is now installing without any problems.

Please help me with this, if it's possible I'd like to solve this problem without risk or require of loosing my personal files.

If you need me to post any logs from windows update or smth, of course I will share it with you (if it's safe for me and don't include any of my personal or secret informations)

    Thank you in advance!

Windows 11 update KB5034123 fails to update at step of restarting computer

Hi, good day! I'm , I understand that you're having some issues right now, I'll do my best to help you with your concern.

Please make sure that you have sufficient storage space on your device. Also, let's try to update your computer in a clean boot state, kindly click the link below for the steps.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-t...

Once done, restart your computer and retry the update, if in case it fails again, let's manually update your computer by performing In-place Repair/Upgrade.

    In-Place Repair

    - In-place repair/upgrade or repair reinstall is a process of re-installing Windows WITHOUT touching any of your applications or personal files. In this way if there's any data corruption, damaged system files or missing system files on your computer, this repair will fix or repair them.

To start we need to download an ISO file of Windows 11 and save it to your computer. Please follow the instruction on the link below to create an ISO file.

Note: You don't have to create a bootable drive, just download the ISO file, save it on your computer and run it.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

After the ISO is created, follow the steps below on how to perform repair install on your computer.

Note: Please make sure that you're signed in or have administrator rights to be able to proceed for the repair install.

    1. Unplug all external hardware except mouse, keyboard and LAN cable.

    2. Disable or uninstall any third-party antivirus program/application to prevent them from interfering with the repair install.

    3. Run the ISO file that you downloaded, if there's a prompt asking you "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" Click Yes

    4. Windows 11 setup will open, read the license terms then Click Accept button.

    5. Select Upgrade PC now then click Next button.

    6. Follow the steps on your screen.

This process will take some time to complete so you need to be very patient in waiting until the process completes. Once done, restart your computer and check if the issue is resolved.

Feel free to reach back if you need any further assistance.

Hope this help. Have a good day.

    Thank you,
