Windows 10: Windows 11 update not working 2022-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 for x64-based...

I bought my PC in November 2021. Updated it whenever notifications came up.I'm trying to update, but the downloading is frozen at 39%. See photo below. It has been like this for 2 days, and I've left the computer alone for hours at a time thinking it might just be running slow. My OS harddrive has over 130GB remaining so I imagine it isn't storage.Please advise. I don't want to rely on third party sites/videos.

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.

I have not shown all updates in this list.

I tried a suggestion by Norton of disabling 'Auto-Protect' and 'Smart Firewall' while retrying the update, but that made no difference.

So please Microsoft what is the solution?

I suppose I could leave it alone to continue failing until the next big update, but would that solve the problem?
