    Since I installed the most recent windows update on 1/18, my sound has been on the fritz. Additionally I've been getting edge webview2 errors with my citrix environment. I suspect the two are related.Sound issue: For a while, I couldn't adjust the volume at all - it was just at 50% always, no matter what the setting, and then after a while, the sound would go away entirely. Now I can adjust the volume, but I am still having trouble with the audio disappearing on me, especially if I am trying to watch something. If I reboot the computer, it will come back temporarily, but then it will disa

    of the updates that were recently installed. Follow the below steps to check for the KB numbers:

    1. Type settings in search bar and hit enter.

    2. Go to update and security.

    3. Select advanced options.

    4. Click on view your update history and check.

    Also, I suggest you to restore the system to the previous point where PC was working normally. To do so kindly follow the below given steps:


    • Press Windows + I key and click on Update and security.

    • Click on Recovery, and click on
      Restart
      under Advance startup.

    • In the Windows Recovery Environment, on the Choose an option screen, click
      'Troubleshoot'.

    • Click, Advanced Options and then click on
      System Restore.

    • Follow the onscreen suggestion to restore your PC to earlier point.

    Good surround sound headset

    I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue Windows 11 update on 1/18 wreaking havoc on sound. :p
