    Windows 11 update problem - Win icon and search icon no longer work


    I am on Windows 11 22H2, build 22621.1. On 26 October, “Windows Update” asked me to uninstall updates, which I have done. Today, the Win icon and search icon magnifying glass no longer work. On the right-hand side of the taskbar, I see the update icon double arrows in a circle with a red dot, which shows“Your device is missing important updates.Select this icon for more info.”When I right click the icon, I see “Check for updates” and “Open Windows Update”. When I click on them, nothing happens. Therefore, I am unable to install the “important updates”. Th

    Remove Linux Desktop Icons

    I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

    Windows 11 update problem - Win icon and search icon no longer work

    Minimize to icon tray not working in Windows 10 Anniversary Edition

    Since updating to Windows 10 Anniversary Edition, RealTemp is no longer minimizing to my icon tray. Is anyone else having these issues?
