I feel like I’m going insane here. I went into my bios and enabled the TPM and Secure Boot and even though I did both of those things Windows 11 still won’t install and it’s still saying I need to enable secure boot. What? And when I go into my system information it’s still saying there that secure boot is unsupported. I’m at a loss for what to do short of just buying new parts. I have an Asrock X570 Steel LegendA ryzen 9 3900x32 gb of 3200mhz cl 16 crucial ballistix ramAn EVGA 2070 Super And by OS is installed on a WD SN750 1 TB m.2 NVMEThank you to anyone who can help me solve this problem!

    :)

  2. Windows 8 Secure Boot Feature: Not So Secure?

So Linux is switching to secure boot also? Or they have to because of UEFI?

Here is a statement from a Kernal Developer at Red Hat:

I'm not sure this exploits the legacy BIOS but rather it exploits the legacy boot method on MBR drives, injecting a signed key before the OS boots, which you are correct in that it has nothing to do with Windows 8. And the simplest fix would just be to require boot drives use GPT when Secure Boot is enabled in UEFI.

PC Cannot run Windows 11, even though TPM and secure boot are enabled

    Welcome to Ten Forums.

There are some more requirements that the PC Health app checks besides secure boot and TPM 2.0. There is a list of supported processors too.

There is a sister-site to Ten Forums called Eleven Forum, a lot of us are discussing it there such as in this thread.
