Windows 10: Windows 11 Update sent me back in time. {solved}

My computer asked to restart for an update.Upon updating I have been sent back in time to like august of last year. All my documents and pictures are seemingly gone reverted back to what I had around that time of last yearI think it has something with me not using one drive as the update turned onedrive back on... is there any way to go back? Or is windows just screwing me over?I have stuff in my documents folder I need this weekend.[The update list was HUGE whenever it booted, it said I was massively behind on updates after just asking me to update which is bogus because I always keep my

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Mouse and keyword stop working at the same time in Windows 11. Once when it happened uninstallation of Antivirus was stopped. I have read many articles on the internet but they have not solved the problem. Some of them are listed below:

1. How to Fix Mouse Not Working in Windows 11.
   
2. Mouse and Keyboard not Working in Windows 11 [8 Fixes].
   

I contacted a technician in Microsoft but he cannot solve the problem. I have a feeling that the problem is caused by cyberattacks because they happen usually in the daytime and not in the nighttime. I ran my computer without connecting to the internet and the problem did not happen. Please suggest how can I solve the problem. Cannot update Windows 11 to build 22h2

Need more help than support web site offers. I would like to update a Windows Pro 21h2 to 22h2.

I've tried every suggestion at Troubleshoot problems updating Windows - Microsoft Support short of "Perfrom a clean installation of Windows 11." That list is comprehensive and includes everything I would have thought of on my own and then some. None of the troubleshooting suggestions solved the problem. The system in question is a Lenovo ThinkCentre M90n desktop running Windows 11 Pro Version 21H2.

In addition to all the steps at the above link, I've also tried installing by using Windows 11 Installation Assistant. Installation Assistant downloads and goes through the long installation process. But then very shortly after the reboot starts, it says, "Undoing changes" and boots back into the old build.
