Windows 10: Windows 11 Update stuck at 27% when restarting, how can I fix this?

I am currently on windows 10 21H2. My system meets the requirements to update to win 11, but everytime after the prompt to restart, the update gets stuck at 27%. I've run the Troubleshooter and this is what I foundIsPostback_RC_PendingUpdates WaaSMedicService Issue found by :AutomaticCorruptionRepairPlugin;ResetRepairPlugin IsPostback_RC_PendingUpdates IsPostback: True Problem with BITS service : The requested service has already been started. Method 1: Run Windows Update Troubleshooter

I suggest you to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter. Follow these steps to run Windows Update troubleshooter:

• PressWindows key + X and click on
  Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click Windows Update troubleshooter.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
• Check if issue persists.

Method 2

I suggest you to check if the services responsible for Windows update is running. Refer to these steps:

• Press Windows key +R, type “services.msc”
• Locate the BITS, Cryptographic, MSI Installer and the
  Windows Update Services and check if it is running.
• If not, right click on the service and click start to start the service.

Method 3: Place the computer in Clean Boot and then install the updates

To help troubleshoot error messages and other issues, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This kind of startup is known as a "clean boot." A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Windows updates won't install!

I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.
