Windows 10: Windows 11 update stuck

    Windows 11 update stuck


    My laptop has been stuck on the "updates are underway ,please keep your computer on" for about half an hour now it normally only takes 5 minutes at most, how long should I wait and if it doesn't go ahead what can I do?

    Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

    Why is chkdsk stuck at 11%

    Simply searching for
    "Why is chkdsk stuck" yields (e.g.)

    I would suggest you read these, then decide how to proceed. Note 11% is a figure that has been observed.
    Also consider with which parameters you are running chkdsk, and the comments about patience and time.

    Windows 11 update stuck

    getting updates stuck at 11% (windows 10 upgrade from 7.1)

    Initially it was stuck at getting updates.

    Then I tried stopping few services wauasev etc., as suggested by post

    got lucky got the licence agreement page and then starting to progress

    now is stuck at 11% for about one hour.
