Windows 10: Windows 11 updates messing with volume keys on keyboard.

Update prior to this latest one, I was able to reset the Realtek audio back. This time, I am not given the choice. If I'm looking at a video online, I can lower the volume on the video volume slide, but the keyboard up and down do not affect it. The system beeps are ever so loud as is announcements. Volume is set to my Realtek speakers .. I have adjusted every setting I see to a low of 20 in the settings.. yet the volume keeps screaming out.

Keyboard Volume Keys not working while in-game

I happen to have used the Tt Challenger Pro keyboard in the past, and the volume keys worked flawlessly in every game, so it's indeed a weird problem. I would suggest the same thing sneekypeet suggested, using the keyboard software and assign this function to a hotkey, but you said that didn't work either, so yeah...

Unplug the keyboard from the computer, restart the computer once and then re-plug the keyboard to check if that helps.

You may also plug in this keyboard into another PC to check if the issue persists. You may plug in another keyboard in to this PC to check if that helps.

Also ensure to install any pending Windows updates on the PC and restart it to check if that helps.

Follow these steps to launch the On-screen keyboard:

Keyboard volume keys not working properly after upgrade to Win10

Sorry for the delay in replying.

Uninstall and reinstall the Keyboard driver from manufacturer’s website.

Follow these steps to Uninstall Keyboard driver.

• 
  Press Windows key + X to select Device Manager.
  
• 
  Search for Keyboard driver and expand it.
  
• 
  Right click on the Keyboard driver and select Uninstall.
  
• 
  Follow the onscreen directions to complete the process and restart the computer.
  

Further, I suggest you to download the latest keyboard drivers from the manufacturer’s website.
