    Windows 11 updates take hours to complete


    Hi.I have a laptop that is a couple years old. Its not a slow one, its an ASUS Zenbook with Ryzen 7 4700U, 16Gb of RAM and a 512Gb Kingston NVMe SSD.Everything on the laptop works like a charm, except for Windows updates. Most updates take hours to complete, I usually just let it run the update overnight while leaving the laptop plugged in. Its ridiculously slow for no apparent reason. Like today, I started the update at around 18.00. Its now 21.45 and three updates are as such:- 2024-01 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64 KB5033920 complet
