  1. Windows 11 updates USB HeadPhone detection issue

We are experiencing USB headphone detection issues with Windows 11, the USB device keep connecting and disconnecting continuously. We tested this with multiple USB headphones devices like Logitech, Plantronics, Jabra, etc. We have done many troubleshooting steps mentioned in multiple articles Microsoft/DELL/HP/Lenovo but nothing help. If we re-installed a fresh windows 11 on it then it starts working normally again. The issue repeats after running few days. It seems like there is some compatibility issue with the latest windows patches with some particular hardware. We are using Lenovo V15 w

  2. USB headphones not getting detected on Windows 11

I recently purchased a USB Headphone (Redgear Cosmo 7.1). When I plug it into my Windows 11 Laptop, I receive an error notification stating, "USB Device not recognized: The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it." Strangely enough, these same headphones work perfectly fine on two other Windows 10 laptops and a PS4.

To troubleshoot this issue, I have attempted the following steps without success:

    1. Running the troubleshooter: Upon running the troubleshooter, it prompts me to connect the device, but it fails to detect it.
    2. Updating all relevant drivers: I updated all the drivers associated with the USB headphone.
    3. Disabling/enabling and updating drivers in the Device Manager: I have tried disabling and enabling the drivers in the Device Manager, as well as updating them, but the issue persists.
    4. Trying different USB ports: To rule out a faulty USB port, I have tried connecting the headphones to various USB ports on my laptop, but the problem remains. Additionally, all the other USB devices (keyboard, mouse, Harddisk) work perfectly fine with all the USB ports on my laptop
Interestingly, when I connect the headphones to the laptop, they do light up, indicating that they are receiving power. However, the device is still not recognized by Windows.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance or suggestions to resolve this issue.

Here are steps to help fix the issue:

    • Plug your headphones in.
    • At the bottom right side of your desktop taskbar, right click the volume icon and select
      Playback devices.
    • Check the default device and if it detects the headphones you plugged in.
    • If it does not detect your headphones, you will need to update your BIOS.

    Keep us posted.

    Headphones Not Detected

Wasn't sure what topic to put this under.

Windows 10 refuses to detect my headphones from my headset. The mic is fine. The computer even recognizes when I plug the headphones of the headset in. But it refuses to detect them. I can go into my Sound in Control Panel all day, and there will NEVER be any
headphones in that list. So, no, I cannot click headphones, just making that clear before someone suggests clicking on headphones.

How do I force Windows 10 to detect the headphones that I have plugged in, so that they will work? The jack is working fine. When I plug them in it gives me the pop-up letting me know that I plugged something into the jack. But that's the end of it. It will
not detect the headphones. Nothing comes out of them. There are no headphones in the Sound list. There is nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. Zilch. Why does it register something is plugged in and then refuse to detect it?

Someone please figure out why Windows 10 simply cannot detect headphones and help me fix this so I can use my headset.
