Windows 10: windows 11 upgrade for my laptop not eligible?

Hello, I have a HP Laptop that is i7-7500U @ 2.70GHz, PC health check says CPU not eligible for windows 11. I am reading that certain CPUs are not eligible because of security vulnerabilities. However, on health check it states that TPM 2.0 is available and active, I thought that should be enough for security issues if I want windows 11. I have 16GB ram also. So, wondering why with TMP 2.0 active there is still issue with CPU?Thanks

Laptop not Windows 11 upgradeable ?

I have the EXACT same processor. It is on the list of APPROVED processors, but the Compatibility Program says it is not eligible for the upgrade to Windows 11 because of the Processor.... arghhhh

 

Windows 11 upgrade eligiblity for Alienware Dell laptop

I have a 3-year-old Alienware 13 R3 Dell laptop that "doesn't currently meet the minimum system requirements to run Windows 11". I've checked the requirements and my current setup seems to meet them all. I rang Dell to check if they could tell me what I could upgrade on my specification and they told me it's not that my laptop doesn't meet the minimum technical requirements, it's simply that Microsoft has not listed this model as being eligible for Windows 11. Are the eligibility lists likely to be reviewed?

My HP laptop with core I5-6200U processor says it's not eligible for Windows 11 upgrade but when I look on the Microsoft web site for Windows 11 minimum requirements this processor is listed multiple times. Is this some sort of a glitch where they aren't recognizing my processor accurately? I would think a core I5 (even though it's 4 years old) would meet the requirements. Can anyone help me out here?
