  1. Windows 11 Upgrade Processor Requirements

I run Windows 10 on my desktop PC. My processor is an IntelR CoreTM i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz, but it is not on the list of acceptable processors for Windows 11. I should like to know why this processor does not meet the Windows 11 requirements as, having read the published processor data requirements for Windows 11, my processor should be fine.

    :)

  2. Windows 11 Required Processor

I was trying to upgrade my PC to Windows 11 from its current Windows 10 operating system, and my PC matches all of the required specs, including the fact that the processor has multiple cores and higher than 1.0 Ghz frequency, except that the processor model is not listed on the supported processors for Windows 11. My computer is equipped with the AMD A10-5700 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 3.40 GHz processor. Is there an issue with this processor as to why it is not on the list of processors or is there any way I can bypass this so I can still install Windows 11?

    Hello,

Unfortunately, i5-7500 processor is not compatible for Windows 11, according to Microsoft.

Please check with official Windows 11 list of supported processors:

You can drop a feedback to Microsoft about this, using Feedback hub app.

    Regards.

    Windows 11 Processor requirements

I ran the PC Health Check and it came back that my processor doesn't meet the requirements. I have the following processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7500 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz. According to Microsoft's Processor Requirements list for Intel, this processor meets the requirements.

I sent a message to Microsoft a couple of weeks ago and have never heard anything back from them. Is there anyone in the community that can tell me why this processor isn't matching Windows 11 requirements even though it's on their list of approved processors?

    Thank you in advance,
