    Windows 11 Upgrades Failing


    Hi, we have multiple Windows 11 upgrades failing on a few machines, this is when scheduled or running the manual install assistant. They seem to fail after downloading and installing. I had a similar issue before but seems to be a different cause.I have the upgrade logs from one of the machines if these are of use, I can upload these if prompted. They seem to point towards an issue with the default profile.

    Upgrading to windows 11

    I have a few questions about windows 11...

    1. How many GB it is? when my pc suggested the upgrade yesterday, it said it's about 4GB just want to be sure.
    2. I'm using a windows 10 pro so if I upgrade, will it upgrade to a windows 11 pro?

    The BCD or the EFI boot partition's file system is corrupt. Rebuilding the EFI boot partition fixes this issue.

    Please go through these links for more information:

    If you need step-by-step assistance in this regard, boot into WinRE Command Prompt.

    Then run:

    • mountvol y: /s
    • bcdedit
    • diskpart
    • list vol
    For each command, photograph the screen and upload it to OneDrive.
