Windows 11, USB C Earphone volume too low after the update 24H2

Hello,Recently, I have faced a problem where the sound of USB C Type earphones from Samsung is too quiet after the Windows version update 24H2 on the laptop Samsung Galaxy Book Flex2 NT950QDA-X71AZ. The sound has been reduced to approximately 1/10, as I was using sound level 2 until the update, and now it requires at least 24 to reach the former volume. The volume of the laptop's internalized speaker is the same as before, and currently, it seems like the problem only occurs with the USB C Type Earphones. To fix the issue, I have tried the following:1 Change the Default format options of Hz i

Earphone volume too loud or too quiet on Windows 10

Hi I'm having a weird problem on my laptop running Windows 10 Pro. The earphone volume is either too loud or too quiet, and seems to switch between these two upon every restart. When it's too loud, keeping it at 1/100 is equivalent to 20-30/100 when sound was normal, when it's too quiet, keeping it at 100/100 is equivalent to 10-20/100 when sound was normal. Already googled extensively and tried pretty much every suggestion I found with no results:

    • Enable/disable loudness equalization in playback device settings
    • Enable/disable Windows Sonic for headphones in playback device settings
    • Check for errors in sound devices in device manager - no errors
    • Update sound drivers - all updated
    • Try different earphones - tried like 4 already, definitely not an issue with earphones
    • Even tried system restore, still not fixed

Does anyone know what else to try?

    Factory reset Windows 11 24H2 (build 26100.863)

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

There are no currently listed problems resetting version 24H2 of Windows 11 and no specific steps you need to perform, are you experiencing any problems with that insider build that is causing you to perform a Windows reset?

USB-C wired earphone is not detected on my Windows 11 Laptop but works with a wired earphone that's using a 3.5 mm headphone jack

2 days ago i used my usc-c wired earphones to talk and hear audio. Howver today when I want to use it, it's not detected.I already:

    • Restart my laptop
    • Checked Windows update (Up to date).
    • Checked audio inputs & outputs in device management, all audio drivers say the best driver is already installed.
    • Checked sound, video and game controllers in device management, same message as above.
    • Unplugging and replugging the cable
    • Flipping the cable upside down (It's USB-C so it can be plugged in), Can't read it either.
    • Plugging the USB-C earphone into my phone, It works.
Surprisingly, using my other wired earphones, this time it's using a 3.5 mm headphone jack with a white ring, it works. Windows detected it and audio came out, microphone still using the built-in one but I still prefer the USB-C one.
