Windows 10: Windows 11 usbc hdmi display not working

issue, on windows 11, it won't connect my second display even though it's able to connect to my laptop and original display. When I go to settings, it shows a drop down menu that says put it to "extend display" it always goes back to show on only 1 even if i choose keep and then doesn't extend and the drop down menu says the same thing. I have tested with another USB to Sony TV via USB/HDMI - all works great. When I go into the advanced display setting, it says "display 2 connected to SONY TV Intel Graphics " and has a drop down button with it saying it isn't active. Can anyone please help m

USB C to HDMI no longer working after Windows 11 install

My USBC to HDMI is no longer working after the windows 11 install. I am still able to run one of my screens using the HDMI to HDMI, but I can't run my second screen now as I keep getting the same error advising that the display connection might be limited. I had no issues prior to the update, and also tried to just use and adapter but get the same error.

 

PQ1 usbc hub on my asus laptop has stopped working

now I need to charge laptop by removing pq1 hub connector which provides only access for usb and hdmi drives. I just installed three windows updates with restart, no benefit to problem. I just installed one suggested hardware fix, still no benefit to problem.

has Microsoft abandoned support for PQ1 USBC hubs? my laptop is only USBC so a working hub is imperative.
