Windows 10: Windows 11 v. 24H2 Update Fail - Install error - 0x800707e7

I have tried updating my Windows 11 a couple of times. I'm currently running version 23H2. The most recent failure ended with the above error code. In my searches for a resolution, it could be many things, including a profile error, though I'm not sure I see that on my system. Has anyone had a clear-cut resolution to this problem? I am the only user of my computer and the administrator theoretically.

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time

Windows 11, version 24H2 install error

Trying to download and install Windows 11, version 24H2 from windows update give error code:

0x80246019

What can I do? Thanks.

 

Windows 11 Update Fails with error: 0x800707E7 - 0x3000D

This problem has been bothering me for a few months, but I finally decided to fix it. The problem is that I'm stuck on a Windows 11 version and every time I try to update Windows, it reboots and it undoes all the changes it made to my PC. I tried various suggestions I saw online, such as turning off all antivirus/malware software, unplugging all external devices except mouse+keyboard, and clearing enough space on the main SSD. The results are the same. I also tried using the Windows Update Assistant, found here: Download Windows 11. This doesn't work either. I then tried using the media creation tool found at the same link, that didn't work either, but at least it gave me the following error message: "0x800707E7 - 0x3000D The installation failed during the FIRST_BOOT phase with an error during the MIGRATE_DATA operation".
