Windows 10: Windows 11 v22H2 Spotlight Desktop "learn about this picture" icon disappeared, can't be...

Hi,After an update I don't remember which one many programs, taskbar icons, desktop icons, both the lock-screen and desktop windows spotlights are destroyed. My Windows 11 is v22H2.I could recover most of the destroyed items but I can't bring back the Windows Spotlight "learn about this picture" icon which normally should be at the upper right corner of the desktop as seen in the below picture. The problem is, Windows Spotlight was showing wonderful images in the past but nowadays it shows disturbing weird images as seen in the below picture and I can't change the picture because of no

The picture set updates every 24 hours. The next update would arrive in 22 hours. It isn't like you would get an infinite set of photos; it is some(5?) Image per day.

Later in the day, we will replace Whitehaven Beach with a collection of up to five background pictures from around the world. This could take up to 24 hours. If you hover over the Spotlight icon, you can learn more about each picture. Right-clicking on the Spotlight icon on the desktop opens a context menu where you can switch to a different background picture as well as tell us whether you like or don’t like one of the pictures. Double-clicking on the Spotlight icon launches the landing page where you can learn even more about any of the Spotlight collection pictures you saw throughout the day.

Windows Spotlight on the lock screen

Hi,

There are multiple causes on why you're encountering this issue. To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest that you disable and re-enable Spotlight. Simply follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the desktop and open Personalize.
• Open Lock Screen tab.
• Under Background, switch from Windows Spotlight to a Picture or the Slideshow.
• Click OK and close the Window.
• Now Log off and log in.
• Navigate to Lock screen and enable Windows Spotlight again.

Remove Linux Desktop Icons

I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.
