Windows 10: Windows 11 Version 22H2 File Explorer Ribbon

Windows 11, version 22H2 has updated the file explorer ribbon. Before the update we were able to revert to the classic file explorer ribbon by using a register fix. But since the 22H2 update the fix has been disabled and we are stuck with the windows 11 file explorer ribbon. Is there a fix in the works to allow users to restore the classic file explorer ribbon? I find it much easier to work with the classic ribbon rather than the new “simplified” one.Thank you

Windows 11 22H2 update File Explorer ribbon FAIL when going over 100% scaling

Windows 11 22H2 File Explorer Ribbon is blurry when using over 100% scaling on displays. Only the ribbon buttons are blurry, if you click "View" or the "..." the list that comes out of those buttons is not blurry.

I know you hate people who use over 100% scaling and give limited support because of it but try to be sympathetic and fix this... using 2560x1440, 27 inch monitor and 100% scaling is simply too much grind to use.

This is small fix and you have to provide support to this degree especially since now the Windows 11 style ribbon is mandatory. Old methods of getting the Windows 10 style ribbon back with either Windows Terminal, CMD or Winaero Tweaker don't seem to work anymore. They worked before 22H2 but after not

I am literally about to explode. Nothing can be done, you have to prioritize this and until you can provide fix to this blurriness you have to give quick way to change back to Windows 10 style ribbon. There is literally only problem with ribbon, everywhere else the sharpness with 124% custom scaling is satisfactory.

PS: I also think the clock, volume and internet icons need to have better sharpness for over 100% scaling but they are nothing compared to the blurriness that is this new File Explorer ribbon. They are satisfactory compared to this.

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
