Windows 10: Windows 11, version 22H2: Issue with Manual Sleep Mode Activation on Laptop

Hi all,I have set my laptop to keep on when you close the lid.I've also updated my screen and sleep settings as follows:When plugged in, turn off my screen after --> NeverWhen plugged in, put my device to sleep after --> NeverSince making these changes, I'm unable to manually enter sleep mode. Whenever I attempt to initiate sleep mode manually, it consistently returns to the login window. Turning off the device works without any issues.But once I'm setting another value instead of Never, it is working fine and it go to sleep mode manually from the power mode.BTW - Hibernate, Shut down an

Since 22H2 upgrade, windows 11 goes to sleep mode by itself

Since I upgraded windows 11 to 22H2, both my laptops enter sleep mode by themselves. The power is plugged and the sleep mode option is set to "never" when plugged in. The first laptop goes to sleep after 10-15min, the second one after several hours. I have reset and changed the sleep mode delay but nothing changes. If it was only one laptop, I could believe it comes from the computer itself but not with both of them going to sleep without warning.

 

windows 11 version 22h2 in S mode

Hi,

I bought new HP Pavilion laptop with windows 11 in S mode. I keep getting this notification -Windows 11, version 22H2 is available to download. My question is - if I download and install this 22H2, will that throw me out of 11 in S mode? cause I think if once we come out, we can't install S mode again right? Keeping S mode is very important for me for safety reasons.

 

Windows 11 Laptop closing down apps when in sleep mode

Hi All,

I have a P16 Gen 2 laptop running Windows 11 that is relatively new. Since I have started using it I noticed it would close down all of my applications while it is in sleep mode. I have done my due diligence and:

• Checked the power settings:
  
  • Run Power Troubleshooter
    
  • Tried to disable Hybrid Sleep but setting is not present
    
  • Adjusted power plan settings
    
• Checked drivers are up to date
  
• Disabled battery saver
  
• Run SFC and DISM
  

Everything that has been suggesting in forums and reddit I have tried but nothing has resolved the issue.

Really hoping someone can shed some light on this.
