    Hi,I am facing Install error Windows 11, Version 23H2, Install error - 0x800f081f.The update gets downloaded but it shows an error during installation. How to fix this?

    The build number 22631.2506 implies the device has been upgraded to 23H2 already.

    Here are the version/build numbers for Windows 11.

    • 22000.xxx is 21H2
    • 22621.xxx is 22H2
    • 22631.xxx is 23H2

    Window 11 23H2 failed to upgrade with 0x800f081f

    Hi

    I was in the insider beta program and currently on 22623.1325. My windows update stopped updating a while ago. I was so happy when I finally saw 23H2 appeared. I could finally get back to a stable release build. However I kept on getting 0x800f081f after 100% installation and then the installation completely failed. Any suggestion on how to fix the problem?
