Windows 10: Windows 11 version shows 22H2 but udpate history says 23H2 was installed?

Under system, about, it shows Windows 11 Home 22H2 installed on 8/7/23.Under update history, it says 23H2 installed on 3/13/24.2024-03, 4, 5 and 6 cumulative tupdates installed for 23H2.It is now trying to install 2024-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems KB5041585 and failing.I'm not sure what to do since it shws 23H2 was installed?

Yes, I have run all of the troubleshooting ideas but none of them changed anything.

I downloaded a new version of the Media Creation Tool. These were the steps it showed on the screen after running the ISO:

1. Getting updates
   
2. Making sure you're ready to install
   
3. Ready to install
   

Within 10 seconds of clicking "install", I get the error message: "Windows 11 installation has failed". I don't know where to find a log that will give more information. What else can I try?

When checking on something else, within Control Panel I looked at "System Information" and I saw hat it shows "Windows 11 Pro version 21H2". My udpate is trying to install version 22H2. Is that a problem?

 

Windows 11 system information says version 22H2 not 23H2

I have been having trouble with the latest Cumulative Updates and had to uninstall update KB5033375 after File Explorer would not open. I have temporarily paused Windows Updates because this is the second time in the last couple of months that an update has "broken" File Explorer. The last time was mid-November 2023; the culprit was KB5032190. Removing the update fixed it then and removing KB5033375 has fixed File Explorer now. The latest Security Updaet KB5031354 was installed today, 12/24/23, when I restarted my computer after uninstalling KB5033375.

After uninstalling I noticed that System Information says I have version 22H2 (installed 10/4/22), not version 23H2, on my computer, but Windows Update history shows that version 23H2 was installed on 11/15/23. Is this "normal" and expected?

 

How can I manually upgrade Windows 11 Pro Version 22h2 to Version 23H2?

I have successfully installed all cumulative updates for Windows 11 Version 22H2 but I never received 23H2 version update in Nov 2023.

I also manually installed "KB5033055" but 23H2 still not showing up from windows update.

KB5027397: Feature update to Windows 11, version 23H2 by using an enablement package - Microsoft Support as per that link, I verified that I have installed "2023-10 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5031455)"

Please advise, how to manually update my Windows 11 Pro from 22H2 to Version 23H2?
