Windows 10: Windows 11 Volume Icon Scrolling with Mouse Wheel Not working

whenever I try to scroll with my mouse and mousewheel on the volume icon on the right side volume, wifi, battery panel, nothing happens. When I click on the panel and scroll on the volume bar it is working but it doesnt work on the volume icon in the tray itself like it used to.I have tried the following things:sfc /scannow: Executed the System File Checker sfc scan to check for and repair any corrupted system files. The scan reported no errors.dism /restorehealth: Ran the Deployment Image Service and Management Tool DISM Taskbar ResetSystem RestartAudio Driver Restart from services.Repair

Microsoft Modern Mouse (Bluetooth) Scroll Wheel not working.

the scroll wheel on my Microsoft Modern Mouse (Bluetooth) stopped working. I have done all troubleshooting steps: system updates, installed Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse Center, disconnected mouse and reconnected. Nothing has worked yet. Haven't yet tried
it on a different PC. Don't have another Microsoft PC. Have a MacBook, but not sure the mouse can work on that. Any suggestions?

Update mouse drivers:
