Windows 10: Windows 11 Wake on Lan ,

I'm testing the S3 Wake on Lan feature in Windows. After entering the S3 state and waking the system up via the network, I found that the system was indeed awakened, but the screen didn't turn on. At this time, the screen could be turned on by touching it. However, if the system is woken up via the keyboard, there won't be such a problem. I'd like to ask whether this is a normal behavior pattern or not.

How to setup wake-on-lan?

Here is some info.
It seems Windows 7 supports WoWLAN (Wake on Wireless LAN).
But, your adapter has to support it from what I can gather.

Wake on lan not working anymore

Hi,

Previously I'm using windows 10 and wake on lan works fine. But last year I do a in place upgrade to windows 11, then wake on lan never works again.

I tried all steps I found from internet, nothing helps.

Is there something changed in windows 11? and how could I bring WOL back to my PC?

Windows 11 busted wake on LAN

On Windows 10, i had the option of waking my computer (in the basement) from the second floor, thus allowing me to access my video library without running up and down stairs.

Windows 11 busted this function and any online research I have done includes 12 to 15 separate steps for what used to be a one-click function.

Has Windows 11 buggered this forever or is there a SIMPLE way to get this working? For reference, there is no longer a Wake on LAN option in the network driver, but — with MS support — we were able to find and add something like Wake on magic packet. To ping and wake up the PC, I use the WOL app on iPhone, then use Remore desktop (one would think RD would be a one-stop app to wake *and* manage the PC, but unfortunately that is not the case.
