    Windows 11 - while using the headphones, the volume turns down by itself


    Hi, I am facing a problem with my new headphones Sony WH-1000XM4. When headphones are connected to my laptop WIN11 from time to time approx. once per 30 minutes windows somehow mutes them.To get volume back there are two different cases:I have to turn off the source of sound and then open the sound panel and click on the volume bar suddenly it jumps back to the original value.If I keep the source of sound on and click on the volume bar it jumps back but the headphones are still silent and I have to turn off and turn on my headphones.Can you help me how to fix this?Thank you for your time

    Windows 11 - Bluetooth headphones reset volume to 47 when turning on

    Hello,

    I upgraded to Windows 11 about a month ago. I noticed every time I turn on my headphones, the volume is set at 47 and I have to raise it back to 100. In Windows 10, my volume was always remembered where I left it last. In 11, if I raise it, it automatically resets to 47 next time I connect.

    I tried to change the volume of the headphones in the settings, sound, headphones but it didn't work. Is there a solution for this?

    Volumes for headphones and speakers are separate

    Hi,

    To assist you better, please answer the below:

    1. Are you changing the volume on headphone or from the sound icon in the taskbar of the system?

    2. How are you trying to change the speaker volume?

    I suggest you to run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter.

    Follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + W and type troubleshooting.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • Select View all on the top left corner.
    • Click Hardware and Devices.
    • Follow the on-screen instruction to run the troubleshooter.
    Also try to download and install the latest chipset and Sound drivers from the manufacturer website and install the same.
