    Windows 11 Widget language


    Windows Community,I've upgraded to the latest version of Windows 11, 23 Sept 22, and my Widgets are displayed in Thai.My primary language is set as English UK and my location as Thailand. I have Thai listed as a secondary language.Help please.Regards,Peter

    Changing Language of Widgets bar in windows 11

    Hi,

    Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

    I understand that you need help regarding language in Windows 11 widgets

    In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

    • What is the make and model number of your PC?
    • What is the Version and Build of Windows 11 installed on the tablet? (Type winver in Windows search/Run command)
    • Is your PC running on a single language operating system?
    Meanwhile, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

    1. Open Settings (Windows + I), select Time & language from the left pane
    2. On the right hand side, select Language & region
    3. You may select the desired Windows display language from the dropdown menu
    4. You may also Add a language and set it as windows display language

    Windows 11 widgets language not in english

    Hi,

    Windows 11 has a new widgets feature, but it shows all of the info in some other language. I changed my display language to English again and I changed my language in personalize your interests to English, but that doesn't work. How do I change my language?

    Changing Language of Widgets bar in windows 11

    I live in Japan. All my language settings are English, and everything everywhere displays in English, but the items on the Widget are Japanese.

    In the Widget if I click on Language and Region, it opens this in the Win 11 Settings. Mine is set to:

    Display language: English US

    Region: United Kingdom

    Regional format: English US

    So despite above settings the Widget displays it's items in Japanese.

    So where does Widget get its setting from? If it is Time zone, well then obviously I wont want to change that from Japan.
