Windows 10: Windows 11 widgets background transparecy effects broken

Hi, I did a clean install of Windows 11 and installed the GPU driver Nvidia v512.15and I found the widgets app its transparency effects background is broken and flickers from transparency effects to the black background.I had this issue before when I did the first Windows 11 upgrade from Windows 10 but it got fixed with multiple updates but now it's showing again.Image of the issue: https://i.imgur.com/qj63e1E.pngand that on clean install no additional apps were installed.

From the above description, I understand you are unable to change the desktop background on the computer.



Before assisting further, I would like to ask you few questions:

• Did you check if similar issue persists on choosing other options under
  Background settings?
• Are you get any error message/error code on changing the background on the PC?

You will be able to choose to change the desktop background between three options from the
Background settings page.



Method 1: I suggest you to check if similar issue persists on selecting any of the background options from the
Background settings.



If the issue persists on selecting any of the option from Background settings,
perform DISM scan by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.



Windows corruption errors may prevent Windows updates and service packs from installing. For example, an update might not install if a system file is damaged. The
DISM scan or System Update Readiness tool may help you to fix some Windows corruption errors.



Step 1: Open an Administrator command prompt
window by

• Press Windows logo + X keys on the keyboard and select
  Command Prompt (Admin) option.
• Click on Yes and continue. Provide administrator password if prompted.
• Check if it says Administrator: Command Prompt at the top of the command prompt window.

Step 2: Type the following commands in the
CMD Prompt:



Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth


Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth



Step 3: Close the window and check if the changes are effective.



Method 2: If the issue persists, create another administrator user account by referring to
Set up accounts on Windows 10 article and check if similar issue persists.



The corrupted user profile does not function normally such as not launching
Start menu, Cortana, Search bar, Store and other
Windows applications. In such cases creating a new profile and checking for the same will help in identifying if the is specific to corrupted user profile or the OS.

        Did you made any changes to your computer prior to the issue?

        Have you created any system restore point on your computer?
        

As initial troubleshooting steps I suggest you to install the latest windows 10 updates, please follow the steps to install all the windows updates.

If you want to check for the update now, select the Start button, then select
Settings > Update & security >
Windows Update > Check for updates.

We suggest you to try changing the visual effect setting. To Change your Visual Effects Settings in Advanced System Settings refer the below steps,

  Press Windows logo key+ X
  
• 
  Click on Control panel
  
• 
  Select System and Security
  
• 
  Click on System
  
• 
  And select System protection
  
• 
  Select Advanced tab and click on
  Settings
  
• 
  Now select the option Let Windows choose what’s best for my computer
