Windows 10: Windows 11 - Wifi Connectivity Issues with New Laptop

Hi there,I'm using a new Acer Nitro 16 laptop with Windows 11, and I'm having a lot of difficulties with wifi connectivity.At least half the time I wake my computer, the internet does not work. It says I'm connected, but any browser usage will time out. Sometimes it will say "connected with no internet," and sometimes it will simply say "connected." The only way to fix it is to restart the Wi-Fi adapter, which is fine once or twice, but gets to be quite frustrating, when I have to do it every other time I unlock my computer.. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers, but that did n

Connection to other Pc's in network 5ghz wifi issue

Had a few issues today that I have never had before... don't know if its a windows 10 issue with their constant updates you don't know what changes were made and then find an issue.. Tried connecting to my windows7 HTPC (ethernet) and couldn't see it in my network list on 3 windows 10 laptops that can see each other. 1x HTPC - windows 7 (ethernet) 3x Windows 10 laptops (wifi) 5ghz 1x Windows 10 laptop (Tiny10 version) 2.4ghz 1x Windows 11 laptop 2.4ghz Figured it was a windows 7 issue. Tried everything to fix it nothing worked. windows 7 can see all 5 laptops but cant connect to any. noticed the 3 windows 10 laptops that could all see each other are on 5ghz wifi. selected 2.4ghz wifi on one and then I was able to connect to my HTPC. switched back to 5ghz wifi and couldn't connect again. Windows 11 cant see or connect to any other computers. Windows 10 (tiny10) probably an issue with stuff being removed windows 7 cant connect to any (2.4ghz or 5ghz) but can see them. anyone got any ideas?

do you have file/print sharing turned on for the 5ghz network? set to private and not public?

 

Windows 11 can't find or connect to wifi

Just bought an Acer Aspire 5 laptop running Windows 11. Wifi works fine UNTIL I transport my laptop to a new location and try to connect to wifi. It can't see available wifi and says there are no networks available, which is not the case. The only thing that works is restarting my laptop, after which it can see and connect to wifi. Anyone else have this problem who can suggest a solution?
