    I recently did an update to my PC Dell computer. I also recently noticed that I no longer have the WiFi icon on the taskbar, but have the monitor and cable icon. When I select that icon, I see I am not connected to my WiFi after I turn on the computer. I then select it and make sure the "connect automatically" option is marked. It use to always be connected when I would turn on the computer.I tried some of the recs regarding the network adapter, etc. when people had this problem when their computer went to sleep. The adapter is KillerR Wi-Fi 6 AX1650x 160 MHz Wireless Network Adapter and is

    • If you have an identical laptop try comparing the wifi and security settings of the one that does not disconnect with the one that does. If you find any differences change the settings of the one that does not work to the one that does.
