Windows 10: windows 11, wifi keeps changing randomly.

Hi, i have 2 wifi networks turn on at the same time, i turn off 1 the automatic conection and start conecting randomly to the other wifi, thats ridiculously anoying, when im playing a game the wifi change to another one withput permision and the game close becu}ause dont detect internet, i dont wanna turn of oen of the 2 because i use for other stafs, anyone have a solution for this, and yes i have turn off the automatic conection.

Windows 11 ethernet keeps disconnecting.

My ethernet keeps disconnecting randomly, especially after heavy usage on Windows 11 Pro. It usually stays disconnected until restart.

My components:

• MSI B550 Tomahawk
  
• Ryzen 7 3700x
  
• GTX 1080 TI
  
• DA850 Gold Silverstone – power supply
  
• Patriot Viper 4 Series DDR4 32GB (2x 16GB) 3200MT (PV432G320C6K)
  
• P5 M.2 SSD
  

What have I tried:

• Changed ethernet cable to new one. – I have tried both ethernet ports on MOBO
  
• Reset modem settings and restart modem.
  
• Almost all software tweaks that I have found online – multiple settings (reset network….etc.).
  
• Upgrade network drivers
  
• Completely fresh reinstall Windows 11
  
• Change power supply and SSD drive.
  
• Update BIOS to the latest version.
  

I'm currently considering that the problem might be related to Windows 11 itself, given that my other computer that runs on Windows 10 doesn't encounter the same issues. It could also be an issue with the modem itself or a possible hardware malfunction. Interestingly, when I utilize an external WiFi dongle, the WiFi connection seems to work flawlessly. I'm open to suggestions for potential solutions or fixes.

 

Windows 11 shutdown box keeps popping up randomly.

Windows 11 shutdown box keeps popping up randomly Just updated to Windows 11 from windows 10, and when I am just using it in light tasks, e.g. typing document, browsing web, this shutdown window keeps popping up randomly every few minutes. I am running on a desktop PC Dell optiplex 3080, core i5 so there is no power or battery issue. Any suggestions?

 

Windows 7 virtual wifi authentication mode

Hello.

Just a quick question to whoever is using windows 7 virtual wifi capability - when you type in "netsh wlan show hostednetwork", cmd window displays a list of settings for your hosted virtual wifi.

I was wondering, is there a way to change authentication method from WPA2-Personal to simple WEP ?
