Windows 10: Windows 11 - WiFi stops working when laptop sleeps

Hi,I am on a one month old dell laptop running Windows 11 Home.My laptop sleeps after a short period of activity in the interests of battery life.However, whenever it sleeps/is turned on again, the wifi comes up as Not Connected, Secured, or shows as connected but doesn’t work when I search/do anything vpn also disconnects at this pointIs this any fix to this? I have tried numerous things, including clicking on my device in device manager > network adaptors but I don’t have anything for power management, etc. ThereThis means that I have to restart my laptop whenever it sleeps, a massive i

Windows 11, some applications seem to crash after laptop goes to sleep

Hello,

Currently whenever I close my laptop lid for prolonged periods (so the laptop goes to sleep) there seems to be some apps that seem to crash. They disappear completely from my desktop, or have to be forced to stop in task manager in order to restart them.

These apps are namely:

• Spotify
  
• Trello
  
• Whatsapp for PC
  
• WSL
  
• EarTrumpet
  

Wifi also seems to stop working after my laptop goes to sleep. I have to turn it off and on again to for it to work.

Steps taken to try fix issue:

• Restored to default power settings
  
• Ran power options troubleshooter
  

I am currently on the windows 11 insider program, in the Beta branch, and I am on the latest build at the moment

Any advice on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

 

Win7 Pro Laptop crashes when resumes from sleep

Ok almost positive it related to the wifi card/driver. If I disable it in the device manager my laptop sleeps and resumes just fine.

So I guess first step would to be try to find a different driver and if that doesnt work I guess I can replace it. Used mini pci-e wifi cards are pretty cheap.

 

No sound after returning from Sleep Mode Windows 11

I have a Dell Latitude with Windows 11. When my PC returns from sleep mode the sound stops working. When I check Sound Settings the laptop's integrated speakers (Intel Smart Sound Technology) are still selected.

I'm usually quite good at troubleshooting PC issues. I've followed all of the standard Windows troubleshooting steps including uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. Any suggestions?
